Swift leads the way in electronic upload/download
Swift have always been instrumental in leading the way with
technical advancements and the introduction of GPRS Data Systems
for all engineers throughout the UK is our latest attempt to provide
our customers with an even greater level of response and service.
The roll out of our bespoke engineer communication system; ‘OnCall’
is now complete and allows for a service call to be transmitted
directly from our call centre to the appropriate engineer’s
handset, thus saving time and creating a faster response and more
effective job management than ever before. Since introducing the
system over 12 months ago we have seen a dramatic increase in the
level of response we have been able to offer, with technicians spending
almost 80% less time on the telephone and more time on site. This
new system is totally paperless and even gives the customer the
opportunity to give an electronic signature for the completed work
when the engineer has finished directly onto the iPAQ, which is
then transferred to our call centre for immediate processing.
All in all, our investment in this new technology is helping us
to move even closer to our goal of becoming the UK’s preferred
choice for fire and security service.
